Christian Graure was born in 1984.

He is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher, mainly involved in photography and mixed media, fusion of the arts, cultural history, science and social engagement.

With a passion for studying the various relationships between memory, remembrance and the linguistic structure of the printed image, his work explores not only archetypes and irregularities in the visual perception from repetition to reception, but also the distortion and fading of episodic memories and their semantic ramifications due to these processes of remembering or forgetting.

In 2017, he received a PhD from the Romanian Academy in Bucharest and is currently an associate professor at the Western University of Arts and Design in Timisoara.
